Filling and handling. Once the shell is welded it is filled with compacted steel sand — and at this size the part cannot be filled, lifted or loaded the way a 3–5 t counterweight can. The filling operation, the lifting gear and the transport each need their own setup.

Multi-axis CNC machining centers ensure precise mounting hole positions, flatness, and surface finish to your tolerance requirements.
